Watch this short video about Fundriasing for Ealing Mencap

Ealing Mencap is an independent charity. We were established in 1965 by a group of parents of children with learning disabilities.  We are affiliated with the national Royal Mencap charity but we are a separate organisation and do not receive funding from them.

We support people with learning disabilities, their carers and families who live in Ealing and neighbouring boroughs. Our aim is to support people with learning disabilities to make their own choices and live life on their own terms.

We run services which include training, employment, social clubs, advice and information. We also campaign on behalf of people with learning disabilities to make improvements to local services.

We are heavily reliant on your generous support.  Ten years of austerity and cuts to social care funding have hit us hard, and a further 28% cut on grants is proposed this year.  Now more than ever, your support will help make sure we can keep working with everyone who depend on us.

Here are some of our 'Fun'draising heroes:

SHOPPERS at Ealing Broadway shopping centre raised a total of £2,887.50 for charity over the Christmas period.  This was divided equally between four charities, including Ealing Mencap.
