Employment training

Become more independent and gain the skills and confidence you’ll need in order to progress into paid work.

At Dare to Dream, our employment training project, adults with learning disabilities can become more independent and gain the skills and confidence to progress into paid work.

What support do you get?

Employment consultants and job coaches help you identify your goals and support you as you take part in activities that help you achieve them.

When you feel ready, the coaches will help to find a work experience placement. They will support you until you have learnt the job and are comfortable with your new colleagues. We work with organisations such as British Land at Ealing Broadway, ACER, Boots Ltd, GLL (Better) and the British Heart Foundation.

On-the-job training

With a shop that’s open to the public – The Show Room – located next door to the training centre, you get on-the-job training in retail, sales and customer service. This gives you experience and skills you can use in future paid jobs.

The Show Room was a finalist in the 2019 West London Business Awards’, Community Investment category.
