Residential trips

Increase confidence and independence on a short break away from Ealing (14-18 year olds).

Our short residential trips happen twice a year. Being away from home increases self-confidence and independence and allows young people with learning disabilities to meet new friends and have new experiences in a new environment.

Where do they take place?

The location of residential trips varies. Examples include activities centres for young people, the seaside and working farms. There’s something for everyone!

Who can attend?

Residential trips are open to young people who already use Ealing Mencap services. It’s important that we understand their needs to ensure that they feel comfortable with us.

What can you get from residential trips?

  • Make friends with like-minded people
  • Develop more independence
  • Increase your confidence
  • Have fun!
