Value Life Services offer an essential, reliable and uniquely person-centred short break service for both adults and children with learning disabilities who are living at home with a family carer.
The aim of our service is to provide respite relief for the carer and positive, enjoyable experiences to the person being cared for (service user). This allows each to have a well deserved break, whilst also giving the service user the chance to learn valuable life skills, get out and about in the community and most importantly, have fun!
Our service is available during the day, evenings and weekends and at present, we have at least 8 group sessions a week. Sessions take place either in the family home, out in the community or at one of our building bases, which currently take place in Greenford and Southall.
Activities are chosen by service users, so choice is at the forefront of what we do, and everyone’s opinion is heard. Our respite sessions are a great opportunity to access community facilities, make new friends and we promote independence, choice and health and well-being.
Our service is ideal for people receiving direct payments, individual budgets or private payments. You can read an update about the latest changes to the Value Life project by clicking here.
