Step is an innovative and exciting project which supports adults develop social and practical skills.Trainees have the opportunity to undertake a number of different sessions including:

• Sports
• Music
• Photography
• Cooking
• Swimming
• Budgeting
• Woman’s/Men’s group
• Work experience placements

We also have a number of small social firms up and running where trainees can learn new skills in a practical setting, with the potential of earning a wage out of it.

Trainees use individual or direct payments to attend Step at a cost of £48 per day and they attend between one and five days a week. This is, however, flexible and we do offer half day placements at a cost of £24. We are also happy to offer short term placements, such as college holidays.
