The Older Carers Project works with parents and carers of adults with a learning disability in Hounslow who are above the age of 60.

The project:

• supports parents with any information they need
  
  
• signposts parents to relevant services
  
  
• helps parents set up meeting with service providers
  
  
• holds Information days on issues such as wills and trusts
  
  
• arranges home visits
  
  
• completes carers assessments and contingency plans
  
  
• advocates for carers with service providers and statutory agencies when necessary
