Travel Buddy Project

The Travel Buddy Project trains people with a learning disability to act as ‘Travel Buddies’ or escorts for other people with a learning disability who cannot travel around independently. The Travel Buddies assist these people to access the community for any reason that they choose. Such journeys may encompass assistance to work/work experience or a day opportunity, or may be just to access the community for leisure pursuits such as a shopping trip.
