From Friday the 6th June Ealing Mencap and Dance Innovations will be running a weekly inclusive street dance session from Enterprise Lodge.

The dance class will be led by a instructor from Innovation Dance, a dance company with an excellent track record of putting on sessions for young people with additional needs in schools including John Chilton in Ealing and holiday schemes including Ealing Mencap's recent youth holiday sessions.

Streetdance is a healthy, fun, engaging way of trying a new activity, getting some exercise, meeting new people and having a good time! The sessions will be two hours long and run from 6pm - 8pm including a short break in the middle.

The sessions will be designed to be inclusive for children and young people (14-25) with special educational needs and/ or disabilities but that doesn't mean siblings or other young people in the same age bracket can't sign up too!

Sessions cost £12.50 in advance for a block of six or £15 for a drop in, in line with standard pricing for these types of activities.

There is space for up to 18 young people at any session, and we will run this as an initial trial run of six sessions with the option of running more regular sessions if we have the interest.

We are also looking for volunteers to support this session if anyone is interested. That will mean you can attend for free but we'd expect you to help make sure everyone is happy and knows what they're doing. Volunteers need to be 18+
