SPECIAL OLYMPICS JULY IN GLASGOW - REPORT AND MEDALS TABLE
The opening Ceremony in Glasgow July 2005 was a rare delight for all of us involved in the Special Olympics. The footballers revelled in the fact that this grand event was held in Celtic Park, the grounds of one of the major Scottish football clubs. The greater London Team marched proudly around the stadium celebrating our unity and later we proudly stood up to recite the Special Olympics Oath, before a night packed with entertainment and the lighting of the flame followed.

HELLER HOUSE CAMPAIGN
Things have gone quiet over the summer, but we are planning to revive the campaign in September and run it as a long term project right up to the local elections in May next year. The more we learn about the arguments ...

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WED. 28TH SEPTEMBER, CELEBRATING FORTY YEARS OF EALING MENCAP, MEDALS AT THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS AND THE PURCHASE OF ENTERPRISE LODGE
Everyone, members and friends, is invited to our AGM 7.00 for 7.30 with coffee, coke or a glass of wine depending on your taste.
Please come and hear what people have achieved and rest assured that the dull AGM stuff will take just a few moments. Although we will be telling you about the Olympics and the acquisition of Enterprise Lodge, you will also get to hear about a range of our activates for our service users, including travel training achievements and all the excellent work done by the Partnership group in influencing the way services are delivered in Ealing.
